A nonprofit horticultural education center, the Bullington Center features public botanical gardens that includes herb, mountain habitat, native woodland, shade, children's and butterfly gardens. The center sits 5 miles north of downtown Hendersonville and also contains an outdoor amphitheater and greenhouse. Various nature-related programs, activities and workshops for both children and adults are offered by the center throughout the year.
