The first air museum in the state displays more than 15 restored and replica airplanes, including a 1930 Curtiss Robin and a 1931 Piper E-2. It is located southeast of town at the Hendersonville Airport. In addition to airplanes, the museum displays flight manuals, historical and modern aircraft engines, historic plane and pilot photographs and airplane models.
